Who we are

$1ust Packaging are experts in the packaging sector and have over 40 years experience. Founder and Managing Director Andy Davies began his packaging career in 1985 at an independent polyethene manufacturer Monospec based in Llay, North Wales. Over an 18-year period he gained knowledge in Extrusion, Print and Conversion before moving into a sales role.

His next career move was to a general packaging merchant in Wrexham where he extended his knowledge into all aspects of the packaging sector. He successfully helped build the company and took them into new markets and products.

My philosophy is to save them money by down gauging where possible to ensure they are using the correct packaging for their product requirements. The extensive production experience I have gained over the years is prevalent in my decisions and ultimately customer satisfaction. I understand machinery and will advise on the whole process.”

Helping customers old and new

$1ust Packaging Limited have been formed to help customers both old and new reduce their impact on the planet. We all understand the Blue Planet effect but we cannot just “turn off” plastic usage. We must be more ingenious about what we produce and how it can be recycled.

We call this Just-ifying why you require plastic.

Our Just-Lite Polymers can achieve amazing reductions in usage.

Why use 23mu machine pallet wrap when 17 mu will suffice?

Believe it or not that is a 26% reduction in consumption!

Does that Printed polybag need to be 250mu? Why can’t it be 200mu using a super strength blend?

Wow that’s another 20% reduction in consumption.

Can that 30mu Wicketed bag become 25mu?

Again, that’s another 17% reduction.

If we can do this across the board then it is a win win situation, and eventually when alternatives become more sustainable and cost effective, we can switch.

Not all manufacturers are keen to reduce their sales to you, we are extremely keen to do so.
