Description

Our Cardboard Envelopes offer a sturdy and protective solution for mailing documents, prints and other flat items. To help you choose the correct style, it’s useful to understand the key terminology used across the envelope industry.

Pocket envelopes seal on the shortest edge, while wallet envelopes — also known as bankers’ envelopes — seal on the longest edge. Envelope sizes are always stated as depth by width, with the width representing the seal-flap side and always listed second. For example, 110 x 220 mm denotes a wallet envelope, whereas 220 x 110 mm denotes a pocket envelope.

Regardless of the shape or style, all envelopes share common features such as the seal-flap, seams and face. The back or reverse of an envelope is the side where the seams are made, while the opposite side is known as the face.

All of our cardboard envelopes can be printed to your requirements, allowing you to add branding, instructions or messaging to create a professional and cohesive presentation.
